Always, always, I have been fascinated by art in all its aspects, but the architecture perhaps in many occasions has taken all my amazing, because the magnitude and grandeur of certain works leave you breathless, especially when the philosophy of its creator is the harmony between landscape/nature/man.
That is why, today, I would like to make an ode to the great teacher par excellence of our beautiful islands, the creator of the conservation of the canarian territory and its real estate, the Teacher Cesar Manrique, and, of course, its foundation is the clear example of the maximum expression of the conservation and restoration of the perfect balance of the concept that today all we enacted, sustainable development.

What I liked the most was the distribution of the surface and the ethical and aesthetic games created by the artist, going from the pristine white of the building to brown or green tones as that combined with nature.
For me, one of the best places to take photos and admire the scenery was in the hall toward the house of the volcano, inspired by the traditional architecture of Lanzarote which incorporates functional elements of modern conception (large windows, generous spaces, lighting, etc.).
“Yo trato de ser la mano libre que forma a la geología”, escribió César Manrique.

As well as the interiors you can contemplate and delight with some of his works carried out in other islands, such as the Lago Martianez in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife. Perhaps what I like the most is that both the Cabildo As the Government promote the culture and interventions related to the tourist industry, «that Manrique prints an economic and social functionalism unprecedented in the artistic culture.»
